The Rotary 5K Corporate Challenge is a run/walk held each year, usually in mid-April at SUNY Adirondack, to benefit local charities designated by the Glens Falls Rotary Club Board of Directors. This year, due to the pandemic, we will be holding the race on September 11, 2021. The needs of the charities we selected are greater than ever! Funds raised by this event will benefit:
 Southern Adirondack Independent Living (SAIL)
The Ben Osborne Memorial Foundation
and the Glens Falls Rotary Foundation

Course:  This year the event will begin and end near the Haviland's Cove Pavilion in Glens Falls with most of the race being an out and back course on the towpath adjacent to Feeder Canal.
Registration:  $26 per person ($17 for ages 12 and under), is available online now.
We are encouraging  people to sign up on line at  to improve our processing and create less handling. We also have available the hard copy sign up applications for individuals and teams which may be downloaded here on our website at  Use the 5K drop down menu at the top of the page to access the forms. Mailing instructions are included. Applications need to be submitted and arrive in our hands before 9-1 to avoid mailing delays.
The Rotary 5K Corporate Challenge provides the opportunity for experienced runners to compete and test their running on a flat course that runs alongside the Feeder Canal. The race also provides a good experience for new runners and walkers. This can also be a "Fun Run/Walk" if you want to come out and just support the two great charities this year.  Area companies and organizations often encourage employees and members to participate as a health and wellness activity that they can train for and build friendships in the process.
