Program of August 1st - We had an excellent program this week with Janice and Charlotte Holding presenting on the mission work with a small town in Haiti.  What started as establishing a school with their efforts of a Free Methodist church from the area has progressed into not only teaching them school subjects, but also skills such as sewing that will help them provide a better way of living.  Their missions have also provided help with construction of water systems to withstand droughts and improved housing with more permanent walls which will withstand tropical storms.  Janice is working with Ian Williams who has been part of the Rotary International effort to provide clean water to Haiti.  Truly the spirit of Rotary.
