This week is our installation of the board of directors for 2019-20. I will be passing the gavel to incoming president Tim Bechard. Thank you all for a wonderful Rotary year. We were able to support so many organizations and causes in our community and worldwide. That is what Rotary is all about. It was a pleasure to serve as your President!
July 3rd Fireworks and Selling Fried Dough – Last year it was hotter than ever so we are hoping for milder weather this year – but no rain of course! Come listen to the Glens Falls Symphony perform and help us sell Dough. If you are NOT selling fried dough - here’s how you can help the symphony:
1. Help put away the chairs on the stage after the concert
2. Stuffing inserts into Program Books, 5:30pm: Volunteers meet inside the Field House to stuff inserts into Program Books
3. Bucket Brigade!, 7pm: Volunteers meet me by the picnic tables between the stage and field house to get buckets and field assignments for collecting donations as part of the Bucket Brigade. If you can help at all please contact Diane Swanson at the symphony patronservices@gfso.org
