This week we welcome Adirondack Theatre Festival with an update from Executive Director Chad Rabinowitz.
We will also be issuing 5K checks to both the Conkling Center and the Prospect Center.
And…..in case that is not enough, we simply ran out of time last week to award our Rotarian of the Year award (and yes the recipient was there – or was he or she????) We will attempt that again this week!

Who was our Citizen of the Year? None other than our guest speaker – Brian LaFlure. Boy did we surprise him and his Wife Nancy. Well deserved and what a fun time presenting it.

Changeover for the district – Saturday June 22 at the Maybee Farm in Rotterdam. We are bringing our dough trailer and cooking the food. What a great chance to show the district what we have!! What is this you may ask? It is a celebration of this year’s rotary presidents and officers and the Current DG Tammy Heckenberg. We then introduce new presidents, officers and of course our new DG Larry Jones. Please see Cindy if interested in attending. You may also register on the District Website.
Getting rid of Clothes?? – reminder that Rotary has a big blue clothing bin located in the Hewitts parking lot on Quacker Rd. All proceeds go towards the Rotary Gift of Life fund which provides lifesaving heart surgeries for young children. It is an easy way to donate and help save lives.
Don’t forget – PP Art Norton would probably love visitors and cards while he is at The Warren Center recuperating. He will be back with us before you know it.
Saturday June 1 is the Feeder Canal canoe and kayak race. Registration opens at 8:30am. $20 solo/ $25 Tandem. Come support the Feeder Canal! This does not have to be a race. Just enjoy a trip down the Canal – without falling in! www.feedercanal.org for more info.
