Last Thursday, we had visitors John Crawford and Denny Galloway from the Lake George Club.  Denny found a photo Album of the Glens Falls Rotary Club from 1962-1963.  Art Norton, a current member of our club was included in this album.  What a great treasure for our club!  We will give this to our historian Jackie Touba for safe keeping.

Exchange Student Lautie gave a great presentation on his life in Argentina and his experiences as a student in Glens Falls.  What a great program we have for our exchange students.  Thanks to all those who help with this effort.

This week –The Interact Club Students will give us an update on their Rotarian activities.

District Day of Service is Saturday May 18.  All Rotarians in the district are being asked to help.  This year the district is working at the Backstretch of the Saratoga Race Track. If you would like to volunteer with our club Rotarians, this is a great opportunity to meet members from other clubs.

Changeover for the district – Saturday June 22 at the Maybee Farm in Rotterdam.  What is this you may ask?  It is a celebration of this year’s rotary presidents and officers and the Current DG Tammy Heckenberg.  We then introduce new presidents, officers and of course our new DG Larry Jones.  Stay tuned for more details.

We are selling Fried Dough the following two dates:  May 11 and May 18  Signups are available for May 11 for Jenkinsville Mountain Mayhem Soccer Tournament.  Please consider helping out!  May 18 is the Petfest in City Park.  The Interact club of Glens Falls High School will be helping with this event

Don’t forget – PP Art Norton would probably love visitors and cards while he is at The Warren Center recuperating.  He will be back with us before you know it.
